Cambrian Village Lakeside Trust, UK

The Cambrian Village Trust developed the Lakeside Café Bar and other buildings from a derelict site. Today it is a key community hub not only to catch up with old friends over a bite to eat, but for such activities as walking and mountain biking. The elderly also love coming to the Lakeside Café Bar with their carers, where they’ll spend hours chatting away and meeting new friends, it’s extremely heart-warming.
The Café Bar is also a very popular venue for many outreach community groups such as the elderly and disabled, offering a relaxing environment, fabulous views, and lovely walks, either just around the lower lake, or for the more adventurous you can venture up into the mountains, which is ideal for mountain biking, walking, etc.
